Mnemonics defined in this section, whenever they are used for any purpose different to the one indicated in this document, will be indicated always between quotation marks, to avoid any potential confusion with any other acronym or abbreviations used in the Project.
Block 2, when alone, will be used only for CAD models identification purposes, not for naming of any component (Level 1 of the PBS). Otherwise, it will be the first mnemonic of the Reference Designators, being used to identify the Subsystems at Level 2 of the PBS.
Block 3 is used to identify all the Subsystems at Level 3 of the PBS. Should any new subsystem would be added, Project Integration (PI) team, together with the corresponding System Responsible (SRO) will be in charge of providing a new Code, paying special attention to keep coherence with the rest of the identifiers and avoiding the repetition of any identification. In no case, SRO will take any decision of coding without PI team review and approval. This document will be kept updated in IDM to reflect the latest configuration of the Plant.
Block 4 provides the possibility to identify Assemblies (Level 4 of the PBS). The use of this code is not mandatory and it will be used only under the criterion of the SRO and according to the specific necessities. A set of assembly mnemonics are included here, but it is subjected to review by the parties involved.
